About Miya
I host relaxed, beginner-friendly painting experiences in Yomitan, Okinawa, the place I grew up and love.
After many years in hospitality, I learned how meaningful it is to create a comfortable and welcoming experience for others. At Pinto Beetle, painting is a gentle time to slow down, connect, and make something personal. Even with the same design, I support each guest so their painting becomes their own. I look forward to creating a warm memory together in Yomitan.
Before You Book
There is a cat in the home. If you have cat allergies, please keep this in mind before booking.
Please book at least one week in advance. This allows time to prepare and check art supplies for your session.
The studio is cozy and best for small groups, with a maximum of 6 guests per session.
Aprons are provided, but guests are responsible for any paint that gets on clothing or personal belongings. Please wear something relaxed and paint-friendly.

Send a reservation request, and I’ll check availability. After your reservation is confirmed, you’ll receive payment details by email.

This is a request-based class. Please send us up to three preferred dates, and we’ll confirm availability with you.
Other dates are requestable. Weekdays start from 10:00. Weekends are available at 10:00 or 13:00.
